JOLLY RED BREWERY was back at the Chalkboard Cafe (The Bioscope Independent Cinema) this weekend for another round of the BACKYARD BREW Microbrewery Competition.
I introduced the Rooibos & Roasted Oat Malt Ale which got a mixed reaction from the tasters. Not everyone's cup of tea you know.
The Pickhandle Mary Malted Oats Stout fared well and the modified Snor-City Bitter Bier (MkV) also got some new converts.
Jolly Red Brewery
Jolly Red Brewery crafts slow-brewed Ales and Stouts using traditional techniques and archaic recipes, under the cynical influence of The Smiths and The Drums.
